Volvo Penta 5,0 Gi

On my 1999 Volvo Penta 5,0 Gi, with SX Gear, when I put my hands on the lower unit and make force up and down I detect one gap apparently between the trim cylinders and the transom unit.

Is this gap a normal occurrence? Could be a problem? There are any limits? Thanks

Assuming you are talking about a slight amount of up and down movement, yes, that is normal. The trim rams are just metal to metal with the pins that go through the drive and hold the rams on with E rings.
