I am really only posting this so that it will become part of the archives. The VP dealer here overtorqued a fitting on my fuel pump and I found a very slight leak in it while testing for fuel leaks. I ordered the fitting and replaced it and all is good. However, be very careful when working with this fitting. Whether it be tightening, removing or replacing the fuel line. The fitting is designed to be screwed in by the body, but then tightened to the fuel pump with the nut - NOT by continuing to turn the body (which is what I suspect they did). It seals on an O-ring under the washer you see, not on the threads. This fitting is rare/hard to find, is not any kind of standard pipe thread and expensive. It cost me $204. Be very careful with it.
