Volvo Penta 4.3 GL = Chevy 4.3?

Hi, I have a 1992/3 4.3GL Volvo Penta with a cracked block. Can I buy a good used Chevy 4.3 and just swap the ancillaries over? Thanks in advance.

The block is the same, the cam is not automotive, but a truck cam is close. The core plugs are brass in a marine engine, not steel. Fuel and ignition systems must be marine.
