what are some syptoms / signs of incorrect timing?
I just fixed an overheat issue (thanks IBOATS forum) and at WOT the engine sounds seems to "cycle" a bit even though the RPM is staying stable. The sound is somewhat like what it sounds like when a boat is porpoising only not nearly that intense. The MPH and RPM stay solid and the performance is on par with similiar boats/motors, I just think the sound seems a bit like it fights itself when running WOT.
hard to describe, but trying to determine if it is just the effect of sound carrying on the water at that speed or if there is some other thing I should look at to make sure it is running at the optimal settings.
