I have a 95' larson with a Volvo penta 3.0. I. Have to pull the engine to do dome repairs to the flywheel. Do I have to remove the exhaust pipe to get it out? If I do how do I remove it? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Get the rubber exhaust hose (Between riser and exhaust pipe) loose first (soapy water works well) than the riser should come off the rubber part when you lift the engine up. You can push the rubber exhaust coupling down as far as it will go, but on mine the manifold stud keeps it from going down too far onto the exhaust pipe.

I did my ring gear a couple of years ago and it was easier than I thought.
