I have a 1984 Bayliner Capri with an I/O, volvo penta 280 drive and what the manual says is a 5.7 liter v-8 (small block chevy). I noticed the ID on the heads to be 4416 which means they are chevy hi-po 305 heads. 58 cc chambers, never offered on 350's in cars as far as I know. So, did v/p swap heads on thier marine motors to up the compression, or do I have a 305? I have not dissembled the motor yet, so I can't go by bore size. Any info will be helpful, thanks
