Last week I put new seals between my lower and intermediate housings. Well I finally got to run it today on muffs and didn't like what I saw.
When I turned the water on to the muffs, I had water coming out all over the intermediate.
It comes out right below the fitting with the hose from the transum. Not the fitting or the fitting seal, but below. It stops leaking when I start the engine.
Is this the result of the new seal not being in correctly or is it a different problem. I don't remember seeing the leaking last year.
Could I have blown the seal out with too much pressure on the muffs?
