Volvo penta 2 pin alternator wiring ?

I bought a Volvo penta alternator for my ls swapped boat (same engine as Volvo 350 380 and 430 v8) and I can’t find a diagram. It has a 2 pin sealed connector on the back. Part number 3884950. I believe this alternator is used for many other engines as well. Just need to know how to excite the alternator to charge. Thanks

Should be same as Delco style middle row far right

If you get the excite and sense backwards to alternator the alternator will still charge properly with the engine running but will discharge the battery when the key is off. And the alternator will get warm with key off.
