I have a year 2000 Four Winns 205 Sundowner fitted with Volvo Penta 5.0 GL motor and SX outdrive. The serial number on the leg does not match up with the paperwork, indicating that the leg has been replaced but I'm not sure if it is the right leg for the boat or if it is newer or older (I suspect older). Does anyone know how to date an outdrive from it's serial number and if the leg I have is suitable (Looks like a higher gear ratio)? Details are as follows: Fitted leg is SX-M 1.79 Serial No. 4112071703. Original leg was SX-M 1.60 Serial No. 4112095668
