I have a 2006 volvo gi-f i/o serial#4012191678. I get limp mode3 at about 4000rpm. Checked risers and manifolds. They looked OK and you can keep your hand on the risers. Replace the raw water impeller regurlarly. Oil and temp gauges read normal, about 170 temp and about 60lbs oil at high speed. Backflushed in the yard, seemed to be a little debris but poked out the holes in the drive with a wire and seemed to clear it out. Went over all the hose clamps for tightness. The engine seems fine up to 3500, but higher it may go into limp mode. I'm all ears for suggestions.
