Cleaning up the outdrive, raised it, and noticed two small holes in the most visible (from the bottom) bellows. They are round about a 1/16 dia. I believe this may be the exhaust bellows but not sure. Are these holes supposed to be there? Will they leak into the boat or cause damage? Going into panic mode because launching soon. Thanks

The lower bellows is the exhaust bellows. Those are just drain holes and are supposed to be there.
The exhaust is always full of water (up to the waterline of the boat) when the boat is in the water.

Thanks a bunch Don, you relieved me of a decent into panic mode. What would we do without you. I posted on another site as well and got a reply saying I should replace it. You are a friend indeed to mechanical newbies.

Not trying to scare you, but how do you know what I said is correct? I've been wrong before.
