volvo dp drive shaft

are the cobras and volvo dp u-joints the same? what would happen if i hooked the front part of the drive shaft up to the back drive shaft to fit on a 460? or are they the same splines and diameter? since no couplers are available for volvo?

There are no couplers for the 460 Ford engine, the problem is how the coupler mounts on the flywheel and the bolt pattern in the crankshaft. It has nothing to do with the splines, they are the same for Volvo and OMC.
