Hi All,

As the title of the post says, I have a Volvo DP-C drive on my 1850 Lund. Is it possible to adjust the trim stop up any? Even just a few more degrees. On my other Lund with a Merc drive on I could tweek the trim stop on the outdrive to get a little more bow lift. All I see and here on this drive is the relay(s) under the dash.
A few more degrees of trim to get the bow up just a little higher sure would be nice.

Thanks

Yes, there is, you adjust the gauge sender. Just loosen the bolt (last step in picture) and turn the sender to adjust. Best to have some weight on the drive when setting. If you trim up too high with the DP, you will get some serious cavitation burn on the props.

SWEET!! For some reason I thought it was fixed or permanantly set at the factory. Ohhh this is gonna be fun!!
Like I say, I'm just looking for a little bit more bow lift, she runs pretty flat right now.

Thanks Don!

Was just thinking, if you are out of adjustment on the sender, you can change the gear location by moving that rack on the steering helmet a tooth. That usually gets you 4 to 5 degrees per tooth.
All you have to do is remove the plastic screw from the rivnut and carefully move the gear one tooth.

Here's a link to the manual http://www.4shared.com/file/48536730/fa3b3311/280_to_DP-C_Drive_manual.html it's a bit confusing on how to adjust it, but I think you will get the idea. If not, just ask.
Look at page 152 of the manual.
