Volvo Aquamatic 275 question

I have a 1988 Baretta 18.5' bowrider with Volvo AQ131D engine and Aquamatic 275 sterndrive. The sterndrive only has a trailer-tilt mechanism, and not power trim. The only way to adjust the trim is with the fixed pin adjustment. Has anyone ever added a power trim to this kind of sterndrive, either a Volvo unit or an aftermarket item. And if so, did it help much with top speed? I finally got the right prop that allows it to run at the right rpm, and it has loads of power for pulling weight and great hole-shots, but my top speed is just 35mph. My last boat was a bassboat with a Suzuki 115 with power trim, and I used to love to hit that sweet spot with the power trim. Thanks.

Re: Volvo Aquamatic 275 question

Volvo did have a power trim option, and it was not very common, they do show up on Ebay once in a while, and the price gets bid up pretty quickly, and there is the possibility some parts for the trim portion could be NLA, I've been looking for one myself.
