Volvo aq131c

I posted on this about 2 weeks ago, now some more info. It is a 1990 wellcraft with a VP aq131c with a sp drive. THe prop is a 14 inch 21 pitch. At 4500 rpms I am getting about 30 mph based on gps. Does this sound right? This was with just me on board, a full tank of fuel, and 2750 lb 18 ft boat. THe vibration I mentioned before is getting better but if I try to trim the boat it starts again. Will trimming it in help pick up speed?

Not sure where your original thread is, but if you're getting a fair amount of vibration, I'd worry about that first before I tried to squeeze more speed out of 'er.
