Volvo AQ125-A /270 tilt motor.

I was wondering if anyone else has this same motor with the 270 outdrive. I need the tilt (no trim) motor part number so that I can order the correct motor. The boat did not have one when I got it (for free), and I get tired of using my cordless drill as a tilt motor-although it was a pretty nifty setup that I invented.

Hello 83, welcome! <br /><br />I have the 125b/270. I only have one motor, the trim motor. I'm sure a previous owner replaced it with an Arco witch still works great. Try this link:<br /> http://www.arcomarine.com/Tilt-Trims.pdf <br /><br />When Installing, makesure you sue lockwashers and/or Locktite for I have noticed the mounting srews on mine backout after a while of use and vibration. THAT'S THE ONE!! I can tell by the mounting surface and shaft. Thanks alot Bsturkie.
