Just bought a boat with aq151c motor and 290 sterndrive There was a 25 amp fuse for the tilt trim motor which was blown. What is the correct fuse size?
Looking up both your engine and drive in a manual it shows the engine circuit breaker should be a 40 amp back then...But the fuse/possibule breaker for the trim motor is shown as an 55 amp plus maybe a 5 amp fuse coming out of the throttle handle control seen as item # 9 of both trim models which you will need/want to determine what trim pump motor design you have as there were two designs...One known as the earlier model and the other as a later model as seen here, http://boatinfo.no/lib/volvo/manuals/aq280-dpc_drive.html#/168
