Help anyone. 2008 chris craft 25 launch. 8.1 osi volvo penta with XDP composite outdrive and 80 hrs. Took the boat out the other day and started getting an alarm that went off every 5 seconds. I was cruising along at 3000 rpms and the boat went into engine protection mode and wouldn't go over 2500 rpms. Took it back to lift and checked all the fluids, engine oil, gear drive oil, etc and nothing was low. Oil pressure was normal, engine temp was normal and voltage was reading 14v while running. After a day of sitting I walked back down to crank the boat and the alarm came on immediately once the boat was cranked and running. Again every 5 seconds the alarm came on. Took the boat back to normal operating temp while hooked to shore water but the alarm never stopped and again normal temp, oil pressure and voltage. Any thoughts anyone.
