Volvo 4 cyl with Chrysler Marine Outdrive

There is a "free" boat with a complete I/O unit, the engine is a 4 cyl Volvo and the outdrive says Chrysler Marine. It is an obviously older setup. Is this thing worth rebuilding or is it old junk? The hull is definitely garbage.

You may get some $$$ for those old parts on e-bay. They're pretty rare these days.

Older ( pre 1978 ) Chrysler drives were rebadged Volvos. Since Chrysler didn't make a 4 cylinder engine back then they used the motors too. They're still servicable.

Chrysler also used Eaton drives way way way back. I think Washington used one to cross the Delaware. You'll have to ask Bond-o about them...
