Hello there,

Came across another boat that I am/was considering until I was told that it had a 3.2 litre Ford engine. I think I will walk away from this one. Any comments or is it worth looking at?

Thanx for your input and have a great day,

Rob.

Volvo never had a 3.2L Ford, not even sure if there is such a thing. However, OMC did use a 2.3L Ford for a few years. If it is actually a Volvo 4 cylinder engine, come up with a model nuimber, not engine size. It will start with AQ and have model number and usually a letter after it. Example AQ125B

I never heard of a 3.2 litre either that is why I was asking. Just called the guy again and it is a 4.3 litre, which is a Chevy not Ford like he told me. May have to go and get another toy.

Have a great day,

Rob

Maybe you ought to go look it it. Could be a Gem, improperlly described.
PS: Don't even ask him about the maintenance, there wasn't any. Can't get parts if you don't know what it is. BUT, if he had a dealer service it ??????

If everything works out, hopefully I will be dragging another home tommorrow. You can never have too many toys.

Don't matter anymore. The guy pulled the ad, and has not returned my calls, did speek to him a few times though. Would have been a great toy. 1995 Excel, 21', with 4.3 l VP for $3k. Sounded too good to be true and I guess it was. Oh well, just have to keep looking, because having only two boats is not enough!!

Have a great day,

Rob.
