I have a 97 Four Winns with a Volvo3.0 GS. When I got the boat the large water pump hose was blown. I replaced it and took off the hoses to the circ pump, thermostat housing, etc. I found pieces of the old impellar in the intake to the thermostat housing. Removed and flushed and thought it was fixed. On the lake, the boat will run great, heats up a little, thermostat opens, temp drops and then within 2 minutes the large hose to the water pump will pop off at the bottom. This has happened twice I obviously still have a blockage somewhere, but don't know where else to look. Can anyone offer a little advice?

Re: Volvo 3.0 overheating/ blockage

Take off the circulating pump and check its ports where it goes into the block
