hi have a 1988 volvo 131 290 trim.problem is trim leaks downquickly when under way.on land can see it go down very slowly.no oil leaks visable, can you rebuild valve body ,i know volvo says its not rebuildable.put one side between clip and bodys marked manual release.figure works a lot like a master cyl.have sizeable experence on transmiissons.also how do i tell if trim struts are good.ran them up and down multiple times they both statyed cool.dont want to replace valvebody just to find struts bad.can 290 trim struts be rebuilt.also can they be removed without drive having to be removed.thanks in advance .ernie.
