First let me say that I have made many posts lately seeking help for various problems that this S.O.B. of an outdrive has been hitting me with and I appreciate all the help.

One more: My trim cylinders are leaking. I have run the drive up and down many times (in attempt to bleed system) and discovered what I was hoping wasnt true , cylinders are leaking. It is not a running drip by any means, but just a seaping leak. I am just wondering if it is possible I could get away with another season with just filling the resevoir periodically or mayber using fluid with some sealant property in it.

If they are leaking oil out, it will leak water in.
Water in the pump is not a good thing. It was designed to use oil which also lubricates as it does it's job.
Water is not a lubricant. And if it's salt water, no problem, it will kill the pump.
The pumps are only about 500 bucks, but the cylinders are expensive.
Can you afford both?
