Volvo 290 Outdrive trim has no power

I am trying to get the trim to function. There is no power to the angle gauge on the dash and there is no sound coming from the tilt/trim when I lift the button. To avoid the obvious I do have power. The outdrive is a 1987, the same yr as the boat, the boat was little used and has been sitting in storage for about 5 years - everything worked fine when we closed it up. The wiring is good, not eaten by any animals, hoses also. I ASSume there are fuses by I cannot locate them. Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated - I need some fresh caught MD crabs in my belly real hard!!
