Volvo 280 Engine Lift adjuster pin

I'm looking to replace the 1/2" diameter Volvo lift adjuster pin with a standard bolt. My question is do any of you know the material and heat treatment of the factory Volvo pin?

I know a few of us have bought this and like it.

You get the pin and towing bracket in one.
