Volvo 280 Compatability

I have an old 1977 Fiberform with a 280 leg. It was repowered with a 1985 5.7 GM. I have a line on a 2002 5.7 bobtail engine and was wondering about the flywheel, coupler and bellhousing compatability. I know there are some problems with this but I used "search" and could only come up with mercruiser issues.

And that will be LARGE amounts of money.

The flywheel cover for the 280 will not work over the 02 flywheel (Flywheel is larger diameter) your 280 drive doesn't use the coupler, you need a flexplate for a 14" flyheel. Would also bet the bottail has completely different exhaust system that will not match up with your 280 Y pipe.
