85 evinrude xp150. Just wondering about new regulator wiring. My old voltage regulator only had two yellows and a gray. The new one has two yellows, a gray and a purple. Where would the purple go?
Must be a NOS part as they went away from the purple wire usage and went to voltage sense. Make sure its the correct one as a 35amp wont work on a 10 amp system and vise-versa

Yeah, I ended up finding the information about the purple wire in another post. I cross referenced the numbers with the OEM parts before ordering. Wish I knew how to close this post :happy:
