vip boats

hi, I am looking at a 1989 vip vision fish/ski boat 16 ft(?) and was wondering if they are good boats. It had a 125 outboard. any recommendations on these boats. <br />thanks<br />javsam

javsam, I have a 1991 vip vision. It has a merc I/O, not an outboard. Mine is in good shape with no soft floors or transom rot, it seems like a petty well built boat and it sat outside for two years(canvas covered) before I bought it. <br /><br />Like any other used boat, besure and look for soft spots in the floor, ski locker and make sure the transom is not soft. If you are not sure of it, then have it checked out first, it could be money well spent. <br /><br />Hope this helps you.
