Vinyl before wax?

I'm about halfway through a little fiberglass TLC on my boat. Wet sanded today, removed all vinyl, and am going to compound/polish/wax tomorrow. I've got a couple of decals (boat id numbers etc) to put on. Should I put them on prior to waxing? Does it matter?

Yes, pur decals on before wax

Agreed, decals before wax. I just did the exact same with my boat. In fact, anything you expect to adhere and/or seal needs to be done to a clean, wax and oil free surface.
