VIN # location on spartan trailer?

Hello, I am a newbie who has just purchased an old fishing boat that is on an old spartan tilt type trailer.<br />While trying to complete the registration of the trailer, we are unable to locate the VIN. The trailer had obviously been painted black sometime in it's history.<br />Does anyone know where on the trailer the VIN might be located?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />trapperdad

Hi Trapper,....... Welcome Aboard,........<br /><br />If you read some of ther other threads about finding VIN #s on older Trailers,.......<br /><br />You'll probably find that You're in the Same Boat,.......<br /><br />I rather Doubt there IS a VIN to be Found............

Thanks, Bondo.<br />I found the other threads after I posted.<br />I think you are right, there never was a number on this trailer.<br />Now I am in DMV limbo.
