new engine
new coupler
new ujoints
new gimble bearing

Thought it was the new prop because I broke the new engine in with the old one and never ran it above 3500 for long periods of time until the break in was complete. Went from a 19 to 21 pitch and really noticed the vibration.

Pulled the drive, put in the new universals and made sure the alignment was right and it was dead on.

I can rev it up while not in gear and not feel any vibrations.

Previous owners had bent the prop shaft and a marina replaced it with a used shaft. Is it possibly this shaft is bent just enough to cause these vibrations, or they could have damaged something else in the lower unit?

Whats the run out supposed to be on the prop shaft? I am going to put a dial indicator on it and see what is it currently.
