Hi everyone new to the forum Let me start out by saying this sight is the finest for boat info but i have seem to run into a so trouble i just got a hold of a 1975 Venture tri-hull bass boat. I found it in a old tool shed my grandpa had in the back of his property after some digging around i was able to find title for boat motor and trailer. But i can not find any information on. Is this a boat that is worth investing time and money on a restore its in really good condition other than carpets and need some paint. My grandfather told me he bought it of a friend in 1977 and said if i want it to take i could. SO now I'm leaving it up to the expert thanks everyone.

I have to say I don't know much about Venture boats. Its up to you to make the decision to restore the boat. There are alot of people who own boats...there are fewer of them who restored it and made it their own. Welcome to iboats, one thing we like are pictures...lots of pictures. Please send us some and let us see what you have.

Your biggest concern is rot. If the deck and transom are solid, it's probably a worthwhile project. If it's got soft spots, it's fixable but you'll have more money and time into it than it's worth. That's not saying you still shouldn't do it though.....lots of us have restored boats on here for the simple reason of it lets us buy a boat a few bucks at a time. Welcome to iboats!
