Has anyone ever heard of the Vault system for trailer bearings. I have a 2008 EZ loader trailer and the bearings use a hybrid oil. EZ loader said there is no maintenance for 5 years to these bearings. Has anyone ahd experience with them. The companys name is UFP out of Santa Monica. Sounds pretty good to me.

it says no " inspection" no service 5yrs ? hard to believe ,even harder to control a leak if it does. and one day -1826 days it will.

Re: Vault System Bearings

Some of the newer technology from heavy trucks is being passed to other automotive applications now. Several years ago I worked at a trucking company and they got in new Volvo trucks. The front hubs were sealed and had a sticker on them that said "Service at 1 million miles. Do not add oil or grease". There were a few hard running drivers that hit the million mile mark on their trucks. The hub bearings looked great when they were pulled apart and inspected. They were lubed with a thin, runny, oily grease.
