I have a 1984 Evinrude 90 Hp Vro engine. It runs great at 3/4 throttle but
when I go up to full throttle. After about a minute or two it stalls out. I can start it right back up and go but, if I go to full throttle it will die again. I cleaned the fuel filters put in new gas and added Seafoam but it didn't help.
Whats wrong?

Re: Varnac

There's a fuel restriction somewhere, most likely, which is not allowing enough fuel to be delivered.

What size fuel lines from the tank to the engine? Are they old? If so, they may have swollen internally. Is there an inline fuel filter?

Could also be a weak fuel pump.

Finally, you'll get a lot better response if you identify your engine and problem in the title line, rather than just your screen name.

Re: Varnac

Thanks for the info! The fuel lines are old. I will change them out and see what happens! Thanks
