Im building a Vortec headed 383 Stroker SBC. Im using roller rockers so I need tall valve covers, but I cant find a style Fabricated, cast, stampted, that clear the stainless risers.
Any ideas?

Im somewhat limited ecause of the center bolt pattern of the Vortec heads.

Use roller tip rockers instead of full rollers, they dont use any more room than stock.

Ayuh,... If things won't clear each other,...

Something's gotta be changed...

Would an exhaust manifold spacer work? Then you get into 2 gaskets per... more points of failure.

That might not be all that much of a problem. Many marine engine engines do not use exhaust manifold gaskets at all between the head and manifold...........(like my previous 460, and my current 454)
