Value of Starcraft

What would the value of a 86 fibergalss starcraft 16' bowrider with a 70 hp evinrude be worth? Trying to determine a decent offer price. Boat in in good condition, solid floors, newer interior moter has good compression and runs out to redline. Has a standard trailer with it to.

That motor would be worth around $800 around here, so 1-2k for the package would be the ballpark in my opinion.

It all depends on how well the boat was protected from the elements. Check the transom over really well to make sure it's not rotten.

$800 for a 1989 70hp evinrude? This is in Kentucky.

Well I was assuming the motor was an '86 like the boat...maybe worth 1k or more.

Here in Michigan I'm pricing used 70hp Johnnyrudes around $500-800.

Most of the ones that are up for sale are mid 70s to early 80s though.

Here in NW Ohio, walleye capital of the world, boats are not bringing squat!! This area has been hard hit by the economy and increased taxes so poeple are not spending. Mabey 1500 in this part of the country.
