Hi,<br /><br />Today I bought a 2000 Johnson 225 Ocean Pro, from an auction? I was wondering what these motors run for and what applications are they most commonly used for? <br /><br />I got a heck of a deal, despite the fact that I cannot use it on my boat.

The nadaguides site is not that accurate for outboard prices, frankly. A lot depends on where you are with prices. For example, a saltwater model like this one doesn't sell for as much in the midwest as it does on the coasts.
