V/P: Location of ID plate on transom shield?

Getting some help on identifying my engine and was told if I can at-least find the ID plate on the transom shield we can reverse engineer what engine it has.

I'll have the boat out of the water this weekend doing the lower unit oil so I can check inside and out if needed. At the moment but google search isn't finding a good photo.

Can anyone confirm or share a photo of said plate?

NOTE: There are no identification markings on the engine but it is a charcoal engine approx. 96-97 in year (7.4L) When we pulled the engine for a new long block we found nothing on it and of course now it has nothing due to the new long block.

The engine serial should have been on the valve cover. On my 97 SX the ID tag is on the port side up the upper gear housing, not on the transom plate
