Using old wiring to pull new w/side markers

I just got a new complete LED kit w/side markers (and zero instructions) but it looks kinda obvious except the snaking process - I assume I should cut off the old car connector and then split apart the old harness at that point (trailer front). Then I can use each side's old wires to pull the new wires through one side at a time. This seems clear but how do the side marker lights fit into this picture? - their hot lead must be spliced into the brown wire where it passes by their location - so the old wire has to be cut before the snake job will work on the new ones. But then do I have to hope I can fish out the (new) brown wire with some kind of tweezers or pliers or whatever at the hole where the old 3-way tap was made?

The only better thing I have thought of is to maybe put a loose loop of wire around the old wires at the side marker exit hole, leaving the end outside the side of the trailer - then when the old pulls the new, the loop will be around the new wires and all I have to do is yank through the side marker hole to expose them to splice in.

Does this make sense? Other ideas?

In some cases you must run a peice of mechanics wire thru the hole for the side lite, forward up the trailer frame, connect it to a wire that is attached in about the right spot to the brown wire and fish the harness into place, then trim the side lite wire to length

I just rewired my Ez Loaded and side marker wire connections were at the rear tail lights tucked into the hole at the end plate. I just used old wires as a snake. Worked real well.

if its an older trailer and you dont care about looks, leave the old wires where they are and neatly tie wrap the new wires to the outside of the frame, up to the side marker, and then from the side marker down the rest of the trailer tuck them inside teh frame, it will only show if you re really looking for it

Snake the new wires through. Before you do any cutting, be sure there is adequate slak at both ends. Straighten a wire cloths hanger, put a small hook on the end and use it to reach through the hole and snag the wire you need to conect to. Pull the wire back through the hole. If the hole has a rubber grommet, remove the gromet to enlarge the hole for easier work. Replace the grommet before connecting the marker.

If the old harness is good, I would just use it.
