I just got a new complete LED kit w/side markers (and zero instructions) but it looks kinda obvious except the snaking process - I assume I should cut off the old car connector and then split apart the old harness at that point (trailer front). Then I can use each side's old wires to pull the new wires through one side at a time. This seems clear but how do the side marker lights fit into this picture? - their hot lead must be spliced into the brown wire where it passes by their location - so the old wire has to be cut before the snake job will work on the new ones. But then do I have to hope I can fish out the (new) brown wire with some kind of tweezers or pliers or whatever at the hole where the old 3-way tap was made?

The only better thing I have thought of is to maybe put a loose loop of wire around the old wires at the side marker exit hole, leaving the end outside the side of the trailer - then when the old pulls the new, the loop will be around the new wires and all I have to do is yank through the side marker hole to expose them to splice in.

Does this make sense? Other ideas?
