I got a new actuator today but it has the check valve removed and now Im wondering if my brakes will have to be converted to disc or will the drums still work without the check valve?
It'll still work but not as efficiently, the check valve keeps a little bit of pressure in the wheel cylinders.<br /><br />I'd be surprised if you couldn't swap the acctuator for the correct one, or get them to send you a check valve - assuming it's a replaceable type.<br /><br />Aldo
