I sure link it and always thought I was one of those geeks, at least one of the weird ones, but I'm to old now to use my memory for anything other then..... where did I leave my beer :very_drunk: yes I know I need :help:

I printed the chart. I am a geek, but I can't remember all that stuff. :facepalm:

I use alt 0176 all the time for the degree symbol. Especially useful on this site.

Thanks for the shortcuts. I was always wondering how people were posting those symbols. I thought it was switching to a different font as they typed.

I light up Word and type an "alt" with any of these numbers -- nothing happens...??

Can someone explain to me how to use the info. on the chart?

I always use the keypad at the right of the keyboard. Make sure numlock is on.

If you own a mac you just need to hit the "option" key and a single number (only on the keypad) or letter to get:

?™??∞??•??–≠??∂ƒ?˙∆˚?…?Ω≈?√∫˜?≤≥?

Hold down on the "Alt" key, with your other hand enter the number, then release the "Alt" key
