Howdy,
I am looking to buy some skis, as I picked up our old boat off of Craigslist.
In the old days, I skied with two or one, depending on what the lake was like.
I have not skied in over 10 years, and I have gained some weight!!!
I was going to pick up a pair of used skis at the local used sporting goods store. They have a pair of O Brien Amigo skis, that look decent for $50.
My question, is I can't find a "size" marking. From what I have read, I need a longer ski because of my weight. I am at 235 right, now, but hope to be lighter come boating season........
I am no rush, and I know more will be available down the road, it just looked like these skis were wide, which I thought was a better way to go. I think what I use to use to single ski was a wide ski, that it made it easier to get up.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
