I'm purchasing this hydrohoist for my tritoon a sylvan 8522 fish and cruise. It is supposed to lift 5500 lbs so I'm good with weight. The seller didn't know the model. He bought it used also. I contacted hydrohoist via their Web today so I won't get an answer until Monday at the earliest I thought someone here might know. I have to convert it and I've been reading about how others have converted. Flat deck vs. Rails.

Where do you suggest?

Depends what you need. The thing that goes most often are the valves, they start to leak. You can use ball valves or butterfly valves. What folks most often do is get some plastic ball valves and place them ahead of the ones in the pedestal. All you really need to do is replace the actual valve. Finding the correct size butter fly valves takes some time because of all the large high pressure valves you have to look thru to find the one you need.

The hose can be picked up at most places on line
The bottom band brackets which hold the tank can be made from things you have around, the top ones will need to be bought used or from HH
The blowers can also be found
