Quick question I am replacing the crank seal on a 1981 evinrude 25 hp and I didn't pay enough attention to the direction of the upper crank seal. It looks like it should go in so I see the spring around the seal when viewed looking down on it from above? I other words the you see mostly rubber verses the other side of the seal which you would see mostly metal. Sorry don't know how to describe that better. The seal only wants to go onto the crank in one direction so I think I have it right but want to make sure. Also question on the top crank bearing. Looks like the nub on the bearing case needs to line up with the hole in the top cylinder half? Thanks

Yessir. Spring goes on the oil side (underside on an upper crank seal).
