Upgrading pre alpha to counter rotation

I have twin 1.84:1 drives, what all is required to convert one to SEI SE106 counter?

What is the advantage to going to counter rotatio, and why weren't the boat sold that way when new?

I see it is not longer 1.84:1 but rather 1.81:1 is this a problem?

All you need is a counter rotation lower unit, prop, and change the direction in the control box for the shifter.
