upgrading 9.9 to 18 hp

iVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO MAKE A 9.9 hp nISSAN A 18 hp for about $150. Is this so? Will it work on a 4 stroke as well as a 2 stroke???

Not unless you change the powerhead. You can turn the 9.9 into a 15 by changing the throttle cam. Two screws hold it in place and they are around $20.00.
