** UPDATE** steam coming out of pee hole 84 evinrude 9.9

Hey guys, thanks for all your advice. After reading everything when i got home last night, I looked at my intake screen and made sure it was clean, ran a wire through the ell for the pee hole hose. Put motor in barrel added more water just to be sure. AND VOILA, it started peeing water. Don't know exactly what it was, but I'm glad I got it done. Nothing like the satisfaction of reviving an old motor!!!

Keep a piece of weed whacker line in your tackle box. Spiders and mud daubers often the culprits.
