For those of you who have been following my quest to have Crusader Engines replace my (bad) brand new engines, here's the latest: My attorney sent the dealer ( where I bought the engines) a letter of intent to sue if I didn't get two new engines. I have been through THREE engines from Crusader which have all been defective. (2) oil pump/oil pickup failures and (1) bad ignittion module causing a backfire and hydro locking at 3200 rpm. I wasn't concerned about the ignition failure, just the hydro locking at 3200 rpm. Salt water was in the engine for three days until I returnrd from Montauk N.Y. and the mechanic could get at it. Crusaders response was they weren't going to even look at the engines if there was going to be any type of legal action. While I realize that Crusader has been a great engine company for years, I truly believe they are NOW cutting corners and their warranty is a joke. The motors arrived today ( 7/18 ) at the Crusader factory and I'm waiting for their final answer. I will post this info when I receive it. Anyone considering buying a Crusader engine is more than welcome to e mail me or answer to this forum. I will tell you of the tremendous hassle I have had with the company. anovasoffice@netzero.net
