Ok, we found out that the reason for the motor running hot was because of the impeller and the wrong water pump. Well after a few trial runs the head gaskets were im assuming already fatigued and with the high temperatures ended up losing seal in two areas. Letting water into the heads. Well the motor was rebuilt approximately two years ago and ran what I was told at the most 5 or 6 times. Everything looked brand new.
My question is... Is it safe to assume that the heads are not warped and simply change the gaskets and put the motor back together? Second question is, I have searched the internet for torque specs and really can't come up with anything. I do not want to put the motor back together and just tighten everything up to "pretty tight"!
Any input would be appreciated!!
