Well guys, I watched my beautiful boat drive away behind someone else's truck. Yep, it sold. I am very thankful it sold, but still sad it had to go.
As far as my crappy ad, it sold before I changed it. It was all God. I am thankful also that I have 4 months before my layoff to figure out what I am going to do for a job. Not having a boat payment all winter will take some presure off, if money gets tight.
I hope to land on my feet soon and by another Stingray ASAP. At least I still have my little jon boat. I will be posting pics of its restoration it the restore section soon.

Best of luck to you. One thing I've learned over the years is that 'money' comes and goes. Good financial times and tough ones are part of the cycle. Keep the family close, and soldier on. Better times are ahead.

What kind of work are (were) you in? What are you wanting to do? FYI - this economy is affecting all of us. My wife and I have taken turns being out of work (I am now) and three of my best friends are not working now either.

Congratulations on doing the right (not to mention hard) thing. I was laid off back in 2000 and struggled for almost 4 years to put something of a career back together again. Now in 2011, it seems like a brief time - but while it was happening I never thought I'd get through it.

You'll come through it, and you've got the good sense to plan and make hard choices. That's impressive. We'll be praying for you and the economy of North Florida.
